My Therapeutic Approach

If I were seeking therapy for the first time, I would want to connect with someone I could trust—someone who listens with genuine openness and without judgment. I would want support to gain clarity from any confusion (no question is a stupid question) and to be gently challenged so that I can grow. This is the kind of therapeutic relationship I strive to offer. 

 

I draw on a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Open Dialogue, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), tailoring each to meet your individual needs.

I work with individuals 15 years and older and have experience across a variety of mental health and personal issues including; anxiety, addictions, depression, trauma, stress, personality disorders, psychosis and workplace difficulties.

 

I believe that you are the expert in your own life. My role is to understand your experience as fully as possible—almost as though I am seeing the world through your eyes. From this shared understanding, I work alongside you as a guide, offering psychological insight and emotional support, while continually checking in to ensure the process feels safe, helpful, and aligned with you.
